02/20/18 Today, I worked on the outline for my upcoming presentation. 02/22/18 Day of presentation.
02/13/18 I started to plan my presentation and also gathered a bit of information from one of the sources. I also have not yet heard back from Michael Silverman, director of Music Therapy from the University of Minnesota.
02/07/18 I continued to read the source from last class and also gathered information about music's relation to the brain in females and males. 02/09/18 I spent a few minutes working on a scholarship application. From the previous journal, I gathered more information about music therapy.
02/01/18 Since I have not received a reply from the previous person I contacted,, I emailed Michael Silverman, director of Music Therapy at the University of Minnesota. I also spent some time gathering information about music therapy as a whole, and its effects on depression. I found a method that music therapists use when treating patients with mental health issues called The Bonny Method of Guided Imagery and Music. 02/05/18 Today, I contacted the AMTA (American Music Therapy Association) and asked them what types of music they used when administering  receptive music therapy. I began to read an article that analyzes receptive and active music therapy wit patients listening to different types of music, ranging from Indian classical to techno.
